The Digital Imagineers Company selected Sony because worldwide they are the market leaders, taking television production to the next level of development with the latest in high definition cameras. The Sony XDCAM HD represents our starting point for the advantages that flow from working in the tape-less, digital environment.

Say goodbye to digitising with the very latest in 16:9 Widescreen Blue Ray Disc recording technology. The ability to ‘drag and drop’ from the disc to the editing system saves basic edit time and allows more time for creative work.
The system is digital – end to end.
From shooting to file transfer to editing: file transfer to master file: file transfer to DVD authoring.
No more tape.
In the field, Sony High Definition monitoring for producer and client.
Remote access from the field: we can enable clients to review production on their own desktop, if necessary.
No image deterioration over the 30 year lifespan of discs.

We have more than 45-thousand individual music tracks already programmed.
Thousands of sound FX are accessed the same way – just enter the type of effect or music style into our database, and they instantly appear.

Editing – Quantel eQ Editing System
Western Australia’s first end to end, high definition, tapeless production facility employs the industry’s fastest and most powerful editing platform – the Quantel eQ. No shortcuts – we have purchased the fully optioned system. Again underscoring The Digital Imagineers Company's commitment to absolute quality … and the edge the world’s best technology brings for us and our clients. Consider these advantages:

No more time wasted rendering. The eQ’s Timemagic capability renders in the background as editing or the creation of other FX or graphics is carried out.
All material can be transferred for the edit session, because the platform has 160 minutes of full HD capacity.
Speed – being completely tapeless allows maximum time for creative work during a booking, as Sony’s XDCAM HD is a ‘drag and drop’ file transfer system.
Our eQ is fully optioned with features like paint box, multi-point tracking, stabilisers, Q Colour and a selection of third party plug-ins.
Q Colour allows complete control over the RGB of an image. It is very similar to telecine transfers where you have the ability to manipulate the finest of colour detail.
Our plug-ins include Grain Surgery, GenArts Sapphire Plug-ins (including Synapse) and Neurons Platinum Pack.
A built-in aspect ratio converter allows any format to be edited on the same time line without aspect ratio conversion.
All outputs, from High Definition down to analogue, can be produced and processed within the eQ. Time and money is saved because no aspect ratio conversion is required on the final playout.

So, state of the art editing coupled with savings in time and money. Now consider this: if a client is unable to attend the edit, eQ has Mpeg2 capability without processing which can be sent direct to an email address so the client or agency can have access during the session! Just another technology edge.

DVD/CD production – Rimage
The Rimage Company has been a pioneer and innovator in DVD and CD production technology since being established almost 30 years ago. Why did the Digital Imagineers Company choose Rimage? Because we agree with Capital IQ, a division of international ratings agency Standard & Poor’s, this describes Rimage’s products as “…compelling solutions for distribution and archiving of information on CD's and DVD's for just-in-time, on-demand, and mass customization applications…” It does not get much better than that – high quality stock and high quality burners to ensure our product is the best.

Professionally finished labels through the use of Di sublimate colour label printing.
Remote access 24/7/365 so clients can order DVD's once the master is completed and the material is authored ready for duplication. Clients can be supplied with their own access code so they can burn their own discs.
The same applies for CD duplication.

Commercial delivery – DubSat
DubSat is without doubt the most up-to-date and cost-effective service for satellite delivery of television and radio commercials, with the comfort of an encrypted messaging system for client security.
Again, in line with the Digital Imagineers Company commitment to quality, DubSat is a digital delivery process … ensuring no loss of video, audio or closed-caption quality.

Emerging Media
The Digital Imagineers Company works in the present, but keeps an eye towards future technology and emerging media.
We can be a client’s conduit between various mediums, creatively constructing material for different communication channels.

Website design and construction – new sites or the integration of existing commercials or corporate digital product.
Provision of platforms, and the creation of material, for emerging media (e.g. mobile technologies).
We will clone existing material to Blue Ray to enable ease of operation, should legacy material be required.
We will store material in a clean environment.
